I make my Sofrito, and season my Spanish rice and beans with Adobo, Sazon , herbs, other spices, and fresh produce.. When I say fresh it’s across the board in every culture of cuisine I cook.. I make a point to respect the dish , and stay as authentic and fresh as possible… That’s what sets me out and apart as a cook and Food service buisness owner.. I’m not the chef that’s looking for a perfect dot of sauce over a box of Goya yellow rice… I don’t do box and can to plate meals.. ESPECIALLY for The Mixed Pot LLC.. I want seasoned, fresh, and well MADE (not put together)dishes.. Yes there is a huge difference.. That’s where the word QUALITY comes in.. It’s a Mixed pot plate so yes Spanish rice and beans went fine with Jamaican oxtail💘😂
