SOLID STATE TURNS SIX!!
As with any anniversary, reflections are in order! Looking at these before-and-after photos it’s easy to process the physical growth of the space, and while we love the space, the real joy exists in the people that inhabit it.
The beauty of a neighborhood shop is the familial sense we share not just with our regulars, but with anyone that walks in. We look forward to seeing you just as much as you look forward to seeing us (hopefully!). In a city with infinite options, the consistency from our growing community allows us to not only enjoy the present but to dream about the future! As we close up the shop on this beautiful Fall day we are humbled and we are grateful.
Here’s to a wonderful six years and to all that come after! From all of us here at Solid State - THANK YOU and we’ll see you tomorrow!

Chef Olga is running the New York Marathon(her 4th, a superstar!) and she needs your help!
This year she is working with Team Continuum, an organization that helps support young cancer patients and their families, and she is looking to raise $3500!

Attention Peaches & Coffee lovers!
The next batch will be our last for the season! Letting you all know now so we don’t catch any heat come October (though depending on the weather maybe catching some heat would be nice…).
Let us be clear, things at Solid State will always BE peachy, even when the coffee isn’t! Savor that final Peach Espresso Tonic and grab some beans to hold you over and it will be back before you know it!

The beauty of the coffees we revisit is that with each season slight changes occur. While the core of what we love remains, new notes and taste profiles always emerge paving the way for new experiences.

To reach the location on W 71 Street Street in New York, you can take the subway line 1 or 2 and get off at the 72nd Street Station. Alternatively, you can also take bus number M5, M7 or M11 and get off at W 72 St/Amsterdam Av stop.
If driving, from downtown Manhattan, take West Side Highway then turn left onto W 79th St. Turn right onto Amsterdam Ave then left onto W 71st St. There are several parking garages nearby including "Central Parking System" located at West End Ave & W75St.
