Carolina Ramirez is a star of Unblended Coffee’s Young Producer Program in Colombia. Alongside her mother, she has produced some truly spectacular coffees in recent years. Today, her name is associated with a high benchmark of quality in Colombian coffee.
This washed process is a fresh, clean cup of coffee. A few hours of fermentation before washing results in a fruity cup full of strawberries and jasmine with a fresh thyme aftertaste.

Our roaster, Nathanael, took a trip! This is the first of a few shares from his travels!
“In March, I got the chance to visit Colombia for Unblended Coffee’s Development Camp, along with a few other US-based roasters. Unblended is one of our long time partners, and they work with producers all over the country, assisting them as they hone their craft and build their brands. Over the years, we’ve sourced many of our favorites from them: the Development Lot, Gesha Natural, and our seasonal Peach co-ferment.
It was amazing to meet these producers who I admire so much and watch their process up close. The country was beautiful, and everyone I spoke with showed unbelievable hospitality. The trip taught me so much, and I hope it makes me an even better coffee roaster for all of YOU.”
