Built on the legacy of Sushi Nozawa, the iconic Studio City restaurant that operated from 1987 to 2012 and set the standard for traditional Japanese sushi in America. SUGARFISH by Sushi Nozawa opens Thursday, May 21 at 2100 Kettner Blvd., bringing San Diego the uncompromising commitment to sourcing and quality that defines every bite.

Embodying the philosophy of celebrated sushi chef Kazunori Nozawa and his son, co-founder Tom Nozawa, the original idea was simple: bring the sushi Chef Nozawa spent a lifetime perfecting to more Americans.
