🌿QUICK FAQS ABOUT THE RECENT SALE
OF !
🌟 Why did we sell our Manhattan location of ?
David and I run 4 businesses, manage nonprofits and charity projects, and recently had our first baby girl! Things got too busy in our lives in 2022 where we both felt burnt out and decided that it was time to put our plan of franchising into action! We are making more changes in our lives as we walk into 2023, so that we slow down, recover and be ready to do more big things!
🌟Is it a complete New Ownership?
We have sold a license for to the amazing .nn in a structure where the Chai Spot will run more like a franchise, keeping the integrity of the place alive and continuing to give back to community projects in Pakistan. However, you might see new yummy items on the menu, fun new events, and updates that add value to the experience! ☺️💃
🌟 What does a franchise model mean for Chai Spot?
If this experience works, it will help us grow Chai Spot across the United States, where we plan to build and sell locations, or even partner with awesome people to build new locations. For now, David and I are aiming for a slower life to give baby Serafina an experience of childhood that I had growing up in Balochistan!💕
🌟 What happens to Sedona?
We launched the Sedona location using our wedding money after 6 months of our marriage in 2015! Both of us worked nonstop for 3 years to build it and learnt so much about working as a team, building a team, and running a complex business like this one. The Sedona location holds deep memories for us and we plan to (Insha Allah) never sell it🙏🏼
🌟 Are we going to build more Chai Spots?
Yes! When David and I first got married we decided to open a Chai Spot in each state to build bridges between USA and Pakistan, so no one else has to go through such hardship when bringing their two worlds together! 🥳 (More about our love story in ). We plan to continue working on that mission once we are rested 🌿

Ending 2022 with the biggest news of this year! David and I have sold our location!!🎉
This year was a year of growth for both of us as our companies grew and projects in Pakistan increased. But this growth brought a kind of clarity to us that we didn’t have before.
We both want to minimize our responsibilities, to create more space in our lives for slower things. More time in the wild.🌵More time with families. More time in general.
And hence mid 2022, we began the process of looking for people with heart, hard work and integrity to take one of our babies from us as a franchise. ✨Our very dear Manhattan location of
We also knew that doing this will set us up to create more franchises of this business in the future when we are ready.
We couldn’t have asked for better people than .nn and her brother Hamid who are the epitome of what this space is all about.❤️Who value the charity projects we do and who are in this business to build bridges between nations.
As the clock strikes 12am in 1 hour here in New York, I sit here with nothing but gratitude for all that life brings us. 🙏🏼 The space we created with all our hearts in 2018 will now be loved, cherished and protected by good hearted, hard working people. I couldn’t have asked for more.
Happy New Year Everyone, may you all be blessed 💕🙏🏼 - .Brohi

The Chai Spot. They’re a chai cafe specializing in different varieties of chai, and have locations both in Arizona and NYC.
🌹 I got their coconut rose chai — it had coconut milk, black tea, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, and rose water.

What people say
The Chai Spot on Mott Street is not just your average tea room. It's a place where you can enjoy a cup of chai while supporting a great cause. The Chai Spot has been able to touch many people's hearts and provide income support to women in Pakistan through the Sughar Foundation.
What sets The Chai Spot apart from other tea rooms is their mission to start a discussion of peace beyond tolerance, where you fall in love with each other's differences. This message is carried throughout their journey as they take their chai tea and products made by women in Pakistan on the road to at least 10 states where these discussions are a necessary step to coexistence.
Their journey began in February 2016, and since then, they have mapped out states and cities to visit, shared them along with a calendar, bought a truck that tows a little food trailer for the chai and products made with love by women in Pakistan, and began work with women in small villages of Sindh and Balochistan in Pakistan to bring their handmade treasures to sell along with the chai.
One unique aspect of The Chai Spot is their commitment to traditional Pakistani truck art. They hosted a community event in Sedona to paint the trailer in this beautiful art form.
But it's not just about the journey; it's about changing mindsets, supporting women in Pakistan, and sending children to school. The Chai Spot on Mott Street is doing all of this while providing customers with delicious chai tea and an unforgettable experience.
