We’re somehow already halfway through the year, so naturally, we’ve been arguing over our favorite Irish albums of 2026.
January kicked things off with Ailbhe Reddy’s Kiss Big, alongside brilliant releases from Ye Vagabonds and Dani Larkin. February gave us Cardinals’ long-awaited debut, plus stellar albums from Big Sleep and Rosie Carney.
March might just be the month to beat. Joshua Burnside, Foy Vance, and Chalk all dropped records that couldn’t sound more different, yet every one of them is in the Album of the Year conversation. (And yes, all three have played The Dead Rabbit in the last year. Coincidence? We think not.) Throw in Pull Like a Dog from our pals The Scratch and Curtisy releasing his third album in three years, and it was a serious month for Irish music.
The momentum hasn’t slowed either. In April and May, Dermot Kennedy, David Kitt, Glen Hansard, Mick Flannery, and Kneecap all delivered new records, while June's soundtrack has come courtesy of Loah, Dea Matrona, and HAVVK.

Foosball tables, drink specials, and sport on our screens all day every day - yep, it’s the World Cup at The Irish Exit.
From today ‘til July 19th, 104 games will be crammed into 39 days, spanning four time zones and three countries, at locations up to 2,800 miles apart. And with MetLife Stadium hosting eight matches, things are about to get pretty noisy here at Moynihan Train Hall.
We’ll be showing every match, the ideal meeting point before heading out to the games, or settling in for ninety minutes of stress, shouting, and questioning your national allegiances.

Patrón Silver Tequila, strawberry, mint, lime, and mint salt - bright, refreshing, and built for ninety minutes of football. Or 39 days of it.

The Irish Exit brings together the Emerald Isle and Atlanta - and that’s exactly what David McMillan set out to capture in our new mural.
There’s music, with Atlanta hip-hop sitting alongside traditional Irish tunes, and there’s sport too, with the Falcons sharing wall space with hurling players. And most importantly, everyone’s brought together over a pint of Guinness.
Stretching a massive 45ft, it rewards a second look. And a third. And a fourth. Packed with little nods, hidden references, and Easter eggs, there’s always something new to spot - along with a little piece of David, and his hometown of County Down, right here in Downtown ATL.
