Bread pudding in the Caribbean started as a way to use leftover bread, but it evolved with the region, shaped by sugar, spices, and rum into something richer and more intentional.
Now itās a staple dessert tied to comfort, tradition, and shared meals across islands like Jamaica.
And now we have it at Jasmineās. āØ

Todayās theme is jerk wings, and Jasmineās makes some of the best in NYC.
Jerk comes out of Jamaica, where the technique was developed to season and preserve meat using a blend of scotch bonnet, allspice, thyme, garlic, and spices that hit both heat and depth. Itās not just about spice, itās about balance, smoke, and how that flavor builds with every bite.
At Jasmineās, you are getting a plate that actually represents what jerk is supposed to taste like.
Come try us.
