Our mom wanted to name the restaurant “Excellent Dumpling House”. Thankfully we negotiated.
This International Women’s Month we are celebrating the women who made Mimi Cheng’s possible: our mom Mimi whose dumplings inspired Mimi Cheng’s, Jenny and Ling, who have been handwrapping dumplings with us for 10 years, and the incredible women in our community who have supported and lifted this female and sister owned brand along the way.
