We've got a rare one on our hands. Say hello to Kenya Karimikui, a very limited natural-processed microlot from the lush Kirinyaga region near Mount Kenya.
In Kenya, coffees are traditionally processed using the washed method, where the coffee cherries are removed before being dried. For this microlot, founder and exporter Peter Njogu of Rockbern Coffee and his team proposed an experiment to the leadership of Karimikui: to produce a natural-processed lot—meaning the coffee cherries are left intact, so the fermentation process occurs inside the fruit as it's drying.
This microlot is vibrant and juicy with notes of ripe strawberry, crisp red currant, and black tea. It's got the structure and bright character Kenyan coffees are known for—while offering something truly unique.

You'll want to belly up to this bar. 😍 Say hello to the Limited Edition Honey Mama's x Stumptown Cold Brew Crunch Chocolate Fudge Bar. 🍫☕️
Featuring Honey Mama's signature raw honey, coconut, and cocoa combo with Stumptown Direct Trade Cold Brew, this bar opens up with deep, rich coffee and caramel notes, then gives way to a satiny, melt-in-your-mouth fudge and crispy flecks of cocoa nibs and coffee beans.
Find it now at New Seasons Market and all Stumptown cafes. And if you like to double down like we do, enjoy it with a cold brew. 😉

Let's hear it for Honduras El Puente Natural. It's back, and this year's lot is like nothing you've ever tasted.
We've been partnering with husband-and-wife duo Moisés Herrera and Marysabel Caballero since 2004, and for over two decades, they've never ceased to inspire and amaze us with their unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, community, and environmental responsibility.
Unlike washed coffees, naturals are dried with the fruit of the coffee cherry still intact. This method tends to result in a fuller body and intense fruit notes in the cup. This year's El Puente Natural is all that and more, with rich, syrupy sweetness and notes of dark chocolate, berry jam, and panela.
One of the things we always look forward to when Honduras El Puente Natural returns is tasting it alongside Honduras El Puente—a beloved single origin that's been part of the Stumptown lineup seasonally for more than 20 years. It’s fun to compare how different processes help shape the flavor profiles.
Experience it for yourself at home by bundling the two: https://ow.ly/S7iu50ZvSsY

Skip the espresso martini.
Our friend Troy Ali stirred up a cold brew cocktail that's rich, smooth, and just the right amount of kick. You'll want to save this recipe for your next happy hour:
1 dash coffee bitters
1 dash chocolate bitters
1/4oz demerara sugar
1/2oz amaretto
1.5oz Stumptown Cold Brew Delight or Cold Brew Decaf
1.5oz rye whiskey
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass along with ice. Stir for 15-20 seconds. Strain into a chilled glass over ice. Express the oils from an orange peel over the top and garnish with the trimmed peel. Cheers! 🥃🍊☕

What people say
Stumptown Coffee Roasters on Pacific Street is a coffee shop that truly values the quality of their coffee. Their recent post on social media about their Indonesian Java Tenjolaya single origin coffee shows just how much care they put into sourcing and preparing their beans. The fact that this coffee is fully washed highlights its unique cup characteristics, with notes of fresh blackberry, molasses, and exceptional honeyed sweetness. Stumptown has been purchasing from this group of 63 producers since 2018 and is thrilled to offer it again as a single origin.
But it's not just about the coffee at Stumptown - they also value art and community. They recently hosted an artist reception for Cassie Ferguson's work at their Division location, showcasing her printmaking and film photography skills. It's clear that Stumptown Coffee Roasters is more than just a place to grab a cup of joe - it's a hub for quality coffee, art, and community in New York City.
