Earlier this month, we were thrilled to learn we won Star Wine List’s Best Austrian Wine List for New York!
The judges praised our “comprehensive and thoughtfully constructed Austrian wine list, capturing all key regions and styles. The depth of selection reflects a strong understanding of the country’s diversity and character”.
When accepting the award our beverage director, Suzanne DeStio, expressed that “this category is one that’s very important to me. I’ve loved Austrian wine for a long time now. It is still, unfortunately, a bit of an overlooked category on a lot of the great wine lists in New York, so I’m happy to champion it.”
We’re very thankful for the recognition from Star Wine List and hope that next time you dine with us you ask one of our incredible sommeliers about our Austrian wines 🍷

a look at the winter à la carte menu before the seasons change…
while the core ingredients of each dish stay the same each season, the farm is constantly producing small batches of unique vegetables, garnishes and herbs to be featured throughout the season. these small but meaningful changes reflect the hyper-seasonal nature of the farm and keep our menu exciting when it becomes difficult to grow fresh produce.

Royal Red Shrimp tortellini with a preserved Rigor Hill Farm tomato sauce topped with toasted sourdough breadcrumbs.
Over the summer, Rigor Hill Farm produced an overabundance of delicious heirloom tomatoes. To preserve this bounty, Chef Galen spent the final weeks of summer canning countless bundles of tomatoes with the intent of utilizing them during the colder months, eliciting freshness and memories of warmer days. 🍅🍽️

Dry January is over, and we’ve got three farm forward cocktails to try- the Hazy Days, the Peter Piper + the Immunity Booster. All of them are delicious and feature ingredients from the farm-
photo one: the Hazy Days is an ode to European winter-time beverages. this riff on a gin sour combines wintery, dark fruit forward spirits, such as Hayman’s Sloe Gin and Giffard Creme de Mure, (a French blackberry liqueur) with a Rigor Hill Farm lavender infused Citadelle gin to create a warming winter cocktail with a farm fresh twist.
photo two: the Peter Piper, our current twist on a martini, brings the brightness of summer to the table with a Rigor Hill Farm Biquinho pepper brine.
photo 3: the marriage between a vodka spritz and a wellness shot, the Immunity Booster utilizes Rigor Hill Farm fresh turmeric and ginger, creating a refreshing, wellness-inspired cocktail.
