The past is not silent. It lives through us.
Long before algorithms, there was ancestral intelligence. Knowledge passed from hand to hand, generation to generation. The wisdom to grow, nurture, heal, create, and make something extraordinary from what we have.
Somewhere along the way, we began to mistake progress for moving further away from where we came.

I’ve stopped asking...
“Can I afford this?”

That one question has completely changed how I make decisions.
I’m happy to invest in things that fit my life.
I’m just more intentional about where my money goes.

Sometimes it just be serendipitous the way things align.
And this collaboration is on a frequency like no other!
Everybody Move is an AU campaign encouraging people to get moving. Mind, body and spirit. Because the mind is a muscle too, and what we do for ourselves, physically and mentally, matters.
So when we connected with Chef Todd of Turnip Vegan out in SoCal, the alignment just made sense. Two brands bringing their creativity, aspirations and shared values to the table.
On Sunday, October 25th, we’re bringing that energy to Brooklyn!
A walk/run presented by ORUZU and Wally Vu, powered by Altra Running.
What better way to bring people together than through movement, music, community and some damn good food!
So whether you’re running, walking, or looking to find your rhythm, there’s a place for you.

One thing I’ve learned...
A lot of us keep doing things simply because we’ve always done them.
The older I get, the more I question the default.
The way I spend.
The services I use.
The choices I make without thinking.
If something no longer fits my life, I’m not afraid to change it.
That’s one of the reasons I switched to .
I wanted a wireless service that gives me more control—not one that expects everyone to fit the same model.
Normal doesn’t automatically mean smart.

The Steak Sandwich has officially earned its spot on the permanent roster.
We first introduced these flavors at Roots Picnic and had the Roc Nation crew in a frenzy. Had to bring that same energy home to Flatbush.
And that means firing up the grill. Flame-kissed steak, all plant-based, the way it should be!

Six years of Aunts et Uncles.
Serving our community is a gift, an honor and a pleasure. Six years ago, Nicole and I set out to change how our people connect, lime, gather, eat and love. A place where taking care of yourself could feel like treating yourself. Somewhere you’d bring someone you love.
Since then, we’ve served thousands, worked some of the biggest festivals and taken Aunts et Uncles places we once only imagined. And we’ve done it while building something right here in the neighborhood we live in and care for.
Every time you walk through our doors, bring a friend or tell somebody about us, you help keep this going. We don’t take that lightly.
Come celebrate with us today, Saturday, from 12–6pm. Eat something good, lime a little and raise a glass to six years—and all the years ahead.

Running through the 6ix hits different! It’s Home 🏡. Nic hailing from Toronto and choosing Flatbush to be here new home where businesses, relationships, friendships and legacy has been built. Not an easy feat for a 21 year old. She did it though. With Grace, Style and Integrity. We are all honored to be in her presence and share a slither of the greatness she brings to life for the world to experience.
This Saturday we are celebrating 6ix years of love, community, creativity, and care.

Not gone lie last winter almost took us out. So many tears and hard days just to make it to year 5. Now those days are behind us, Thank God. And although we are going in stronger, s**t still happens. That’s business. So I created this love board for Nic to see how much love our extended family has for what we’ve built. Hard days will come but this board will remind us of our WHY so we can stay the course.
