Why We Call It That ✨

Eventually, we started running out of names - but not people worth honoring!

Our triple chocolate Berta Cookie is named after the grandmother of Lisa, a former ktichen manager of the One Girl Cookies team. As OGC grew, so did the tradition behind our cookie names, expanding to celebrate the people who work alongside us and the people who mean the most to them. ❤️

Because every good cookie deserves a good story. 🍪

To get to the bakery and cafe on 36th Street, there are a few options for transportation. If you prefer public transport, you can take the subway to the nearest station which is only a short walk away from the location. Additionally, there are several bus stops in the vicinity that provide connections to other areas of New York City.
